The Audience
The English alphabet has 26 letters, but there are 44 sounds!
Really Learn to Read! is a true systematic phonics-based reading approach consisting of two dynamic successive series of outstanding reading activity books: Short Vowels Books 1-5 followed by Long Vowels Books 1-5. Readers don’t guess at words! They find ease and success when first reading simple patterns of letters and sounds, then self-confidently progress to reading more complex and sophisticated ones.
The lessons in each series advance from Grade 1 through Grade 7. Readers master decoding skills and sight words, expand their vocabulary, and develop comprehension proficiency. Additional skills to enhance English language literacy are alphabetizing, idiom meanings, spelling, and cohesively writing their thoughts.
This unique phonics and comprehension curriculum, designed to instill a love for reading in individuals of all ages, is exceptionally and unquestionably effective because instruction is well-defined, structured, sequential, and comprehensive. For the learner, these high-interest reading activities are engaging and fun, sparking a thirst to want to read.
Interactive fun lessons are composed of colorful graphics, games of making rhyming words with beginning and ending sounds, goofy poems, stories, questions, and drawing activities.
